Our Mission

The Western Economic Council (WEC) is a non profit corporation organized in 1985 by business leaders and interested citizens.

Our purpose is to promote high quality and balanced economic development and redevelopment throughout Western Hamilton County. For nearly 40 years, we have worked to stimulate detailed understanding of the challenges our area faces and to encourage community pride and support.

Our monthly Leaders Breakfast Meetings are generally held on the third Friday of each month at the Western Hills County Club. These meetings present timely and informative topics as well as providing the perfect forum to meet new businesses, community leaders, and residents.

The partnership with government, education, business, and residents helps to improve the quality of life in Western Hamilton County.
